Student Council is a clear reflection of Chapel’s mission to help students develop skills for making informed decisions and owning responsibility for our community.

STUCO organizes various fundraisers and class and school-wide events:

  • Spirit week
  • Pep rallies
  • Dances
  • 7th and 8th grade lock-in
  • Chapel Day Festivities
  • 7th Grade Fun Night
  • Battle of the Bands
  • Prom
  • Senior Service Day

STUCO also assists PTA with events like Open House and International Festival.Annual elections are held in May in preparation for the upcoming school year. This governing body meets every other week to discuss relevant issues and bring forth items of concern.

Students in grades 7 through 12 elect four officers to represent the entire student body: president, vice-president, secretary and treasurer. In addition, each grade elects their own council with officers for these positions.

These STUCO representatives take pride in helping build a sense of community and school spirit at Chapel.
