The elementary school offers regular extra-curricular programs during the course of the year. Each year brings new opportunities for students to be active in special programs and shows. The following activities are a sample of what is available throughout the year in the elementary:
After School Sport Activities
This course is intended to offer its participants a variety of specific skills related to artistic gymnastics, keeping in perspective age and maturity levels. Limit: 15 students
Futsal For Kinder And Grades 1 And 2
Futsal for our first and second graders is intended to develop their individual skills through the practice of this game’s specific fundamentals. Participants will gradually learn how to play an actual game of Futsal and will begin to understand the basic rules and regulations of that sport.
Futsal For Grades 3 And 4
Futsal for our third and fourth graders is intended to develop and refine their individual skills through the practice of this game’s specific fundamentals. Participants are expected to know how to play an actual game of Futsal and will begin to develop a deeper understanding about the tactical characteristics of the game. Limit: 18 students.
Sports Initiation For Grades 5 And 6
This course is intended to offer its participants a variety of specific skills related to Volleyball, Basketball, and Futsal. The idea is to provide our upper Elementary students with the necessary tools to become a more confident prospective student-athlete in the high school level. OPEN FOR GIRLS AND BOYS! Limit: 18 students.
After School Partnership Sport Activities
Our young children will develop their rhythm and body expression as they enhance their appreciation for dance, and will benefit from a safe and caring interaction with an adult and their peers.
This class is intended for PRE 2 – 1ST GRADE and has a limited number of participants.
Kids will learn the basic skills of this martial art and understand the philosophy behind it. A great course to learn about discipline, respect, and self-control. This class is intended for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders and has a limited number of participants.
Tennis classes are offered for various age groups and in three different levels – beginners, intermediate, and advanced.
Capoeira 1- Pre 2 To First Graders Capoeira 2- 2nd Through 6th Grade
In this activity, through a recreational approach, students will practice and learn about a genuine Brazilian form of art that combines elements of dance, music, sport and fight. Limit: 8 students.
Muay Thai is a martial art that develops optimal physical and mental conditioning, concentration, and self-confidence, helping children to better use those skills in their daily school and life activities. Children that practice Muay Thai also improve their motor coordination, their muscular strength and endurance, and their stamina, increasing their self-esteem and energy. Open to boys and girls from 4th to 6th grade.
Futsal For Girls Only (Grades 3 to 6)
Futsal for our girls is intended to develop their individual skills through the practice of this game’s specific fundamentals. Participants will gradually learn how to play an actual game of Futsal and will begin to understand the basic rules and regulations of that sport.
Academic and artistic activities
In this after-school activity, students will be able to explore different art techniques, creating many original art works.
Mad Science Club for 4th Through 5th Graders
For those who enjoy science, and some crazy experiments, let’s join the Mad Science Club!
Come with your friends to learn new things, do experiments yourself along with highschoolers, and see some amazing science you have never seen before! A new experiment every week chosen by the students.

Join rhythmic gymnastics at Chapel! Students will learn about this Olympic sport and create combinations and routines that mix dance, gymnastics and apparatus (ribbon, ball, rope and hoop) with Ms. Julia. Limit: 15 students
Minecraft Club for 2nd Through 6th Graders

In Minecraft Club we practice collaborating, problem solving, digital citizenship, and leadership skills through creative concepts like perimeter, area, and volume by breaking and placing Minecraft blocks.
